New Wines for Featured Tasting List

New Wines for Featured Tasting List

We hope everyone enjoyed tasting through our range of Cirami wines, but it’s time to change our featured tasting list! Starting Monday the 23rd of March, we will be showcasing 2 smaller wineries here in the Riverland, Matthews and Top Block!

Matthews is widely known for their fabulous fruit wines, but we will be highlighting their Grenache and Cabernet-Syrah in our tasting. Robert Matthews took an interest in wine at an early age and started making fortified dessert wine from ruby blood plums! Robert studied at Roseworthy Ag College outside of Adelaide and is now based in Kingston on Murray.

Starting Monday the 23rd of March, we will be showcasing 2 smaller wineries here in the Riverland, Matthews and Top Block!

Top Block Wines is owned by Bruce and Leah Heward located on the outskirts of Monash since the early 1960’s. Originally they produced grapes for drying (Sultanas) but planted a patch of quality Shiraz in 1969. These vines are now over 50 years old and are producing fabulous fruit for their Top Block ‘Poppa Paul’ Shiraz. We will also be showcasing a favourite on our wine by the glass list, their ‘Two Brothers’ Pinot Grigio as well as their ‘Sink the Pink’ Rose.
