Verdejo is predominantly grown in Rueda Spain. Pale green staw in colour with green melon and grapefruit palate. With oak-aging the wine has become more full bodied and nutty with additional notes of almond and honey. Pairs with chicken, fish, shell fish, strong mature cheeses, Thai, Chinese, and even spicy foods. Serve well chilled! Verdejo is the perfect food pairing, white wine due to the acidity. When all else fails there’s always Verdejo smiling down at you “the Little Green Juice Bomb” saying pop me in the fridge a while and try me!
