This wine was crafted using the long fermentation method from 60% Smyrna and 40% Pineapple Quince. With no additional herbs or spices, almost one kilogram of poached quince fruit has been used for every litre of wine produced. Bottled unfiltered, a sweet and fruity wine with a degree of complexity, nuances of quince jelly and membrillo but no oak has been used. Great for drinking now. Enjoy as an aperitif or chilled from the fridge with dessert. After dinner with your favorite soft cheese is a great alternative to traditional fortifieds. If you like all things quince then it’s certainly worth getting several bottles of this one. You won’t be dissapointed!
